Since I graduated in business administration with a major in marketing in 2000, I’ve worked in a variety of roles that have given me a unique perspective on how organizations work, from sales to business development to marketing – communications, to operations, to project management, to events planning, to innovation, to strategic planning.
My interest in startups and innovation has persisted ever since I tried to build one in 2010. Eventually, I joined the startup community upon my arrival in Montreal in 2016, implicating myself with a couple of organizations, the Centre d’entrepreneuriat Poly-UdeM and MTL NewTech. This last organization is where I spent the previous five years co-leading and implementing initiatives to create a sense of community and cohesion in Quebec’s technological, entrepreneurial ecosystem. The MTL AI Week, Startup Community Awards, Startup Open House, and Creative Collisions Conference are among those initiatives. I also managed an Open Innovation Program to uncover business and collaboration opportunities between startups and big companies.
In 2022, I continue to support tech innovation startups whether as the coordinator of the AquaAction startup community or consulting organizations on open innovation environments and tech adoption through Bold
