I am a lawyer and patent agent working for Lavery Avocats in Montreal. As a lawyer, I provide clients with legal advice and opinions regarding intellectual property matters. As a patent agent, I assist inventors in protecting their inventions using patents. As secretary of FORPIQ, I help FORPIQ organize its events and keep track of its records.
FORPIQ’s events are a terrific venue during which attendees (both local and international) can share their experiences and best practices regarding intellectual property. This, in turn, is designed to help attendees see how IP can best serve the fruits of their innovation. By discussing and promoting IP, FORPIQ hopes to act as a driving force for our local innovation community, and to help others gain new perspectives thereon.
